Meet our Director, Kenny!
From a family of four sisters and married with three children, Kenneth is driven to give a voice to his community and knows it’s time for cultural leaders to talk for their Country and their people, identify their needs and aspirations, and take ownership of decision-making in the community. Kenneth will work as a director to bring better service to Doomadgee, and he is honoured to be able to help the community. He believes that this new way of working together will strengthen and improve the lives of the people of Doomadgee, including addressing the lack of cultural practices in service delivery across the community.

Meet our Director, Murray!
Doomadgee, as the beloved home of Murray, a proud Gangalidda man, it holds a special place in his heart. As a Director of the esteemed Gunawuna Jungai, Murray stands tall, driven by a burning desire to shape the destiny of his community. He has witnessed, for far too long, the transient nature of government and non-government entities entering and exiting Doomadgee without seeking the permission of its people, making a connection, or leaving a lasting impact. This unprecedented opportunity to be a key player in the future of his people has propelled Murray to wield his voice to sculpt the future of his beloved community.
