1.Eligibility:

1.1. The competition is open to residents of Doomadgee, Queensland.

1.1.1. Participants who live outside of Doomadgee are still eligible to enter and if they win, they must nominate a current resident of Doomadgee to transfer the prize to.

1.1.2. If the winner who lives outside of Doomadgee cannot nominate a current resident from Doomadgee to transfer the prize too, the prize will be redrawn.

1.2. Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.

1.3. Directors and employees of Gunawuna Jungai are not eligible to enter. 

2. How to Enter:

2.1. To enter, participants must:

2.1.1. Follow Gunawuna Jungai on Facebook;

2.1.2. Comment on the $250 Giveaway Facebook post.

2.2. Entries must be submitted before the competition closing date and time stated on the relevant post and in clause 3.1.

3. Competition Period:

3.1. The competition will run four times:

3.1.1. Competition 1: 12:00AM 1^st March 2025 to 11:59PM 31^st March 2025;

3.1.2. Competition 2: 12:00AM 1^st June 2025 to 11:59PM 30^th June 2025;

3.1.3. Competition 3: 12:00AM 1^st September 2025 to 11:59PM 31^st September 2025; and

3.1.4. Competition 4: 12:00AM 1^st November 2025 to 11:59PM 30^th November 2025.

3.2. The winners will be drawn on:

3.2.1. Competition 1: 1^st April 2025;

3.2.2. Competition 2: 1^st July 2025;

3.2.3. Competition 3: 1^st October 2025; and

3.2.4. Competition 4: 1^st December 2025.

and notified via Facebook messenger.

4. Prize:

4.1. The prize is a $250 voucher for use at the ABIS Supermarket – Doomadgee.

4.2. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash.

4.3. The prize can be transferred to another Doomadgee resident if the winner chooses to pass it on.

5. Winner Selection:

5.1. There will be two winners per competition.

5.2. The winners will be drawn randomly from all eligible entries.

5.3. The winner will be contacted through Facebook Messenger, and must respond within 7 days to claim the prize. If no response is received within this timeframe, another winner may be selected.

6. Publicity:

6.1. By entering the competition, you agree that Gunawuna Jungai may use your name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation or permission.

7. General Terms:

7.1. Gunawuna Jungai reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time without notice.

7.2. By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

7.3. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook.

8. Liability:

8.1. Gunawuna Jungai is not responsible for any technical issues, errors, or interruptions in the competition.

8.2. Participants enter the competition at their own risk, and Gunawuna Jungai will not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.
